Coffee Chocolate Kopi Luwak
Gunung Ungaran National Park, located in Central Java, Indonesia, is a protected area renowned for its breathtaking natural scenery and historical richness. The peak of Gunung Ungaran reaches 2,050 meters, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including the Merbabu and Merapi mountains. The park also includes the 8th-century Gedong Songo temple complex, a unique example of ancient Javanese architecture.
With the approval of park authorities, coffee plants are cultivated directly within the rainforest, avoiding monocultures and emphasizing conservation and sustainability. This project aims to preserve the natural environment, earning a certificate from the Governor of Central Java for its contribution to environmental protection. The coffee plants are hand-harvested and carefully tended throughout the year. The production of civet coffee here follows ethical practices, collecting droppings only from wild civets, unlike other farms where animals are kept in cages.
We import the coffee unroasted to ensure maximum freshness and roast it in the Czech Republic. This method preserves the authentic taste of civet coffee, which is smooth with distinct caramel and chocolate notes. Wild civets naturally select the best coffee cherries, ensuring the high quality and exceptional flavor profile of this exclusive coffee.
